Amerisafe General Agency Inc. (AGAI) was established in 1998, with roots extending to 1975, when it operated as a storefront agency in DeRidder, Louisiana. That agency was the predecessor to American Interstate Insurance Company, and AMERISAFE, all located in DeRidder, Louisiana.
AGAI is a wholly owned subsidiary of AMERISAFE, operating as a full service commercial, property, and casualty agency. In addition to workers’ compensation, your AGAI Account Executive can offer insurance products to transfer risk associated with your property, auto, and general liability exposures.
